"When I was just a boy, I prayed to the Gods, for a horse. The Gods never answered me. So I stole one, instead."
– Stavros
Stavros is a thief who is at some point captured by Hyperion's men, and who later joins Theseus in his quest to defeat Hyperion and his army.
History[]
We first meet Stravros as a common thief who was captured and enslaved by Hyperion's army, alongside Theseus. He is mesmerised by the sight of seeing the Oracles, who were also captured, and even attempts to flirt with Phaedra. She doesn't reciprocate, but strikes up a conversation with him, telling him that they must escape soon and to take Theseus with them.
Later, the Oracles slaughter the guards, providing the perfect distraction for Stavros to take Theseus and help them all escape. As they reach safety and regroup, Stavros wants to get as far away from Hyperion's rule as he can but Theseus wishes to face him and fight as revenge for the death of his mother. Seeing Phaedra's loyalty to Theseus and his bravery, it inspires Stavros to join Theseus in his quest.
They attempt to steal a boat for Hyperion's soldiers but are ambushed by soldiers, although are saved (unknowingly for them) by Poseidon. The group head back to Phaedra's temple in order to confront and kill Hyperion, but it turns out to be a trap and his men steal the Epirus Bow and attempt to kill Stavros and his comrades. However, Ares and Athena arrive just in time to save them and she gifts them two horses that will take them to Mount Tartarus to stop Hyperion.
While at Mount Tartarus, Theseus rallies the Hellenic army and warns them of the dangers they face against Hyperion. Stavros, loyal to Theseus, fights alongside him in a bloody war and eventually, intercepts Hyperion just as he unleashes the Titans using the Epirus Bow and the blast sends Theseus, Stavros and Hyperion falling back.
When Theseus awakes, Hyperion has fled and Stavros manages to grab the bow. However, the Titans are freed and make their way towards him, Stavros attempts to fight them off but is overwhelmed by many of them and is slaughtered.
