Poseidon is the god of the sea, oceans, horses and earthquakes. He was first seen on Mount Olympus watching Hyperion's forces attacking Theseus's village and murdering the villagers and Aethra. The soldiers take Theseus captive. Poseidon then tries to convince Zeus to allow the gods intervene, but is rebuffed. Zeus then tells him that they will only intervene if the Titans are released. Later, he jumps off Olympus and creates a massive wave which drowns most of Hyperion's soldiers. He is also seen fighting in the final battle, but is severely injured and is taken back to Olympus by Zeus.
Poseidon possesses the standard powers of an Immortal.
- Immortality - Poseidon retains the appearance of a young man. He has the potential to live forever since he is a Immortal but can die if something fatal happens to him.
- Superhuman Strength - Poseidon is immensely strong just like Zeus when he fought off hoards of Titans with his trident. The magnitude of his strength was seen when he dived into the ocean from the sky at high speeds, creating a massive tidal wave.
- Superhuman durability - Poseidon has superhuman durability because when he jumped off of Olympus he should have been killed from the impact of the water he hit with his trident. Olympus is really high above the clouds.
