Phaedra

Phaedra is an Oracle priestess captured by Hyperion, who escapes and joins Theseus on his quest to stop Hyperion and his Heraklion army.

History[]

Phaedra is the chosen Oracle, a woman who, as long as she is a virgin, is given divine prophecies of the future via supernatural means. She is always seen with three other women who she dubs her sisters. Therefore, should any complications arise, these women act as decoys to keep the real Oracle's identity safe. One day, while performing an ritual, she experiences a vision of King Hyperion unleashing the Titans using the god's Epirus Bow.

King Hyperion wishes to wage war with the gods and captures Phaedra in order to find it. While in the clutches of Hyperion's men, she comes across a slave, Theseus and she accidentally brushes past him. This contact gives her a vision of him embracing Hyperion, she isn't sure what this means but knows he is important. Together with a common thief also captured by Hyperion, she hatches a plan to defeat the guards and make her escape with Theseus. He is reluctant but trusts her.

Together with other comrades, they venture into Ancient Greece and face dangers, but decide to go back when Phaedra has a vision of how important it is that Theseus honors his deceased mother with a proper burial. While there, Theseus finds the bow and uses it to save Phaedra from Hyperion's men, but collapses soon after due to poison.

Phaedra tends to him and in an intimate moment, asks him to have sex with her so that she can no longer be burdened with her visions. He agrees and they share a night together. The next day they travel to Phaedra's temple in order to kill Hyperion but instead finds her sisters, held captive and tortured to death and realise it is a trap set by Hyperion.

The guards successfully get the bow and are about to kill Phaedra and her friends, until she is saved by Athena and Ares. The mortals head to a neighboring army and rallies then together in order to prepare the upcoming battle. Phaedra is protected by Theseus as he fights Hyperion to the death.

After the battle, it is revealed the gods blessed Theseus and Phaedra with a child after their sexual encounter, as a reward for saving Greece. As a young boy, her son Acamus is seen observing a statue dedicated to Theseus, who now lives in the sky with the gods.
