Apollo was the son of Zeus and the God of the Light, who was responsible for bringing the sun across the sky.

Mythology[]

Little is known of Apollo, according to the myths, he fought a first time against the Titans succeeding them to win. Later he descended to Earth, dispose his cult by advancing humanity, and only later returned to the order of Zeus on Olympus. From this last place, Apollo observed how humans had created vast kingdoms, including that of a king called Hyperion. The latter, after having been wronged by the De themselves, decided to awaken the Titans, starting a series of events. The discovery of the Epirus Bow, forced Apollo to assist helplessly with the advance of Hyperion on the Greek people. When Hyperion freed the titans, Apollo took the opportunity and unsheathed his golden armor, he joined the Titans. Skillful with the sword, the God killed dozens of Titans until a multiple fatal wounds from the numerous Titans succeeded in killing him

Immortals (2011)[]

Apollo fought alongside his father and siblings during the great battle between the Titans and successfully imprisoned them beneath Mount Tartarus.

Many years after, King Hyperion hopes to slay the gods by retrieving the Epirus Bow, the tool that defeated the Titans. Apollo watches from above in Mount Olympus with his siblings, while Zeus demands that they do not interfere with mortal affairs. He seems to be reluctant to take sides and does not join Ares and Athena in their quest to save Theseus from Hyperion's trap.

Later, Apollo arrives with Zeus, Heracles, Athena and Poseidon to battle the Titans who have been unleashed. He successfully fends some of them off but is ultimately slain when several Titans overpower him, one stabbing him in the leg and the other piercing his throat until he is knocked down by a hammer, killing him.
